Standard modifications (shaft variations, lead wire additions) take 10 to 15 business days. Full custom mechanical layouts or gearbox assemblies require 25 to 35 business days, including engineering validation and test reporting.

4. How does AKIT MOTORS manage gearbox backlash?

Backlash is controlled by using matching tool sets on our CNC gear hobbing machines, maintaining tight center-distance tolerances, and selecting appropriate lubricants. For high-precision applications, we can assemble gearboxes with reduced backlash tolerances down to less than 1.5 degrees.
